Summary of Responsibilities:

We are currently looking for a Staff Accountant. This is a newly created position. This position requires a motivated self starter, and an individual that can delve into the details and produce results. This position will work closely with the Controller to manage the financials and develop Policy & Procedures.

Principle of Responsibilities:

• Accountable for timely and accurate financial statements.
• Prepare accurate support schedules.
• Understanding of each account on the Balance Sheet.
• Support Payroll and Accounts Payable processes.
• Support forecast and budget processes.
• Year-end W-2 and 1099’s

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies Required:

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting
• 2-4 years experience in general ledger and financial statements
• Payroll experience
• Strong communication skills
• Attention to details
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Products
• Experience in the insurance industry is a plus
